A Prayer for Meaning and Purpose in Knowing Our Creator

We were created in your image oh Lord and you provided us with a tremendous gift, the gift of life and of knowing, serving and worshiping You. We are a reflection of you God, an image that mirrors what you are and how we should live here on earth. You are a God of justice, the living God that created us from dust and dust we shall return.

I pray for discovering and fulfilling our purpose in this life here on earth, and how we should live and interact with others. Lord you have given us so much, a life worth living and surrounded with joy and thanksgiving. It is because of your faithfulness and sacrifice at the cross that we can live freely.

Obedience, sacrifice and ultimately grace has given us the freedom from sin and your Holy Spirit dwells in us, the life everlasting. The Holy Spirit that you provided us fuels our lives to be filled with life in abundance.

Knowing and believing in you Lord in these challenging times gives us hope and a better understanding of your purpose. Likewise, I pray that our purpose becomes clearer in our lives and that we touch others to believe in you and to know you more. Lord I pray for those that are struggling and facing challenges in their lives. I pray for a release from oppression and that others also become filled with your Holy Spirit.

Fill our hearts and minds with goodness, and the desire to worship and serve you. I pray that you protect us from evil that surrounds our lives and that you keep us safe and focused on you. I pray for all of these things in Jesus name, Amen.
