A Prayer for Protection & Guidance from our Lord Jesus Christ

Lord Jesus, you are great. You are the God of justice. The God that created us from dust and in your image. I am thankful to be part of your creation and to be alive so that I can experience the life that you provided, a life of abundance and righteousness.

Jesus, I pray for your protection during these challenging times. Our world has been afflicted with fear, death and oppression. Humanity was impacted with a worldwide pandemic like no other time in history. There are many people throughout the world that can no longer tolerate the lengthy isolation, restrictions and uncertainty.

This pandemic has caused an imbalance in the world. Many have become wealthy while others are stricken with financial losses and severe health issues leading to death and destruction. It will take decades before this disproportion can be corrected. It is only by your grace and mercy that the world can cope and overcome this global devastation.

Lord I pray for a special covering and that your Holy Spirit is present within us so that we can live freely and in a world without fear and oppression. I pray for your Holy Spirit, for guidance and protect us from evil all the days of our lives especially during this time of uncertainty.

Direct our paths always so that we know the direction to take, and that we do not fall from the attacks and tricks of the enemy. God, you do things that are proper, and goodness surrounds you constantly. I pray that this goodness remains within all individuals, the people that you created in this world. Let us fear you always oh Lord.

Give us the life that you intended us to live, a life of abundance, of goodness filled with your love, happiness and glory. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
